Period Close Hub Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms are the licence agreement (end user licence agreement) for Period Close Hub (the "App"), an app for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central published by Future Ledger AI Pty Ltd, ABN 96 699 993 854 ("Future Ledger AI", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you ("you", the customer organisation) agree to these terms. If you install the App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you can bind it to these terms.
1. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App in your Business Central environments for your internal business purposes, for as long as you meet these terms and any plan or subscription you have chosen on Microsoft AppSource.
2. Restrictions
You must not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the App, except as the law allows despite this restriction. You must not resell, sublicense, rent or host the App for third parties, or use it to build a competing product.
3. Microsoft
The App runs inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, which Microsoft provides to you under its own terms. Microsoft is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the App. Your use of Business Central, Microsoft AppSource and any Microsoft AI services remains subject to your agreements with Microsoft.
4. Trial, fees and changes
Any free trial, plan and price is as shown on the App's Microsoft AppSource listing or as agreed with us in writing. We may change prices for future periods by giving at least 30 days' notice. Fees are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
5. What the App does
The App reads your Business Central data to show period close tiles, reconciliations, checklists, sign-off and close packs. It does not post, adjust or delete your ledger entries, documents or journals; its actions open standard Business Central pages for you to review and run. The App is a tool that helps you close your books. It is not accounting, tax, audit or legal advice. You remain responsible for your accounts, your month-end close, your tax lodgements and for checking the App's results before you rely on them.
6. Copilot (optional AI features)
The App's Copilot features are off until an administrator turns them on. When used, they send figures from the App to Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service, which Microsoft operates under its own terms, to draft explanations and commentary. AI-generated text can be incomplete or wrong. Review it before you keep or rely on it. Copilot never posts or changes your business data.
7. Your data and privacy
Your business data stays in your Business Central environment. The App sends operational telemetry to our Microsoft Azure Application Insights resource so we can support and improve the App, and, only if you turn it on, sends data to Microsoft for Copilot. Our Privacy Policy explains what is collected and how it is handled.
8. Support and updates
We provide support by email at info@futureledgerai.com during business hours (Australian Eastern time, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). We may release updates to fix issues, add features or support new Business Central versions. Updates are delivered through Business Central and Microsoft AppSource. We support the App on the Business Central versions shown on its AppSource listing.
9. Intellectual property
We, or our licensors, own all rights in the App and its documentation. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you. If you give us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where our liability for failing to comply with such a guarantee can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
11. Disclaimer
Subject to section 10, the App is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its results will be complete or accurate for your circumstances.
12. Limitation of liability
Subject to section 10 and to the extent the law allows: (a) we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill; and (b) our total liability arising out of or in connection with the App and these terms is limited to the fees you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD 100 if you have paid no fees.
13. Term and termination
These terms apply while the App is installed in any of your environments. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms and don't fix the breach within 14 days of our notice. Sections 2, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 continue after the licence ends.
14. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from the date shown above, and we will give notice of material changes through the App's listing or by email. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
